Mid’ 25… ‘survive til ‘25’..  so far.. ’25.. facelift.. my temple area still swollen - going down slowly, my saggy jowls are no longer (they still do a little bit but RF and hifu will fix that I think J which I have so no extra expense) and my face doesn’t look stretched - at all.  My chin/neck is - the ‘work’ that I’ve had done especially my eyes looks better than they ever have.  Especially my eyes because I had one eye lid bigger than the other so it was nice to have that deformity fixed.  (as well as my face - you could tell what side I sleep on.. easily).  Lose a few stone thanks to mounjaro.. just starting the 3^rd round and according to the fact sheet should be starting to lose some serious weight soon - so far its been gradual.  Little bit less sweaty thanks to the patches.  Hurrah!!

I tell you what I do have, I have little wings on the side of my head.  Where they’ve cut the hair and it’s not grown long enough to tuck behind my ears, the small patch in front of the temple scar fell out so that is bald but the little whispy bits stick out - looks a bit… bad haircut.  Start using my gadgets again.. soon..  Heres’ to having a ‘chiselled’ jawline  J

Just got my scales out.. steady eddy.  I’m not 50kg yet.  I just got a V9 Velashape machine to 'tackle' my cellulite .. etc.. my cellulite hasn’t accumulated in bundles yet.. doing not too bad for cellulite.  It’s an endermologie type machine..  I think.. it looks like it, approx RRP is $3,500 (in the states)… I got it for £112 including postage.  Will it show up or won’t it.  I’ve just had a look - a 45 minute session is £139 but you can have a ‘special deal’ if you buy 10 treatments at £1,200.  lol.  Should I wait to watch the video of what this machine does before it shows up.. or.... because.. the whole machine cost less than a session.  I will also have to get my laser out and give my veins a zap. It’s definitely faded them, not gone completely and nor have my broken capillaries - but - they have definitely faded.  Which is good considering I don’t have the settings, they were all messed up when that machine arrived - it’s just been guess work and examples of similar but not the same machines.  Pain level is generally a good indicator. I am planning my trip to Thailand…  again. 

Fly straight into Koh Samui, from there Krabi, Phuket, Phi Phi Island - then Chang Mai, Chang Rai - Bangkok.  The King Kong zip line sounds interesting.  Jungle first.. beach later… beach first.. jungle later.. hmm .. then from Thailand onto Hong Kong - and Cairns .. maybe.

Planning my hols.  Then I thought about Maldives, normally associated with ‘very expensive’ and over inflation because of it being - ‘exclusively’ for couples etc turns out it’s an island destination … with many islands… quite a distance from Greece.

mammoth trip.... from there…  the longest time any 'traveller' has stayed in Kong Kong.. or thererabouts... without any paperwork - is it still about 7 seconds ..  according to the movie.  I very rarely watch anything 'Ricky Gervais'.. it was YouTube.... belated Oscar's..was it the oscars..?  - there are so many of them I don't know what they're all for.. baftas, gongs, grammys, emmys, dingoes, dongoes etc .. another movie he was 'promoting' was a movie about acting like you didn't see anything.  lol.. So, it’s taken a little while - but - I have an idea of the Maldives.  Male - Gulhi - Male - Omadhoo - Male - Ukulhas - Male - Thailand.  All beaches with sweet FA to do - except chill, maybe look at a shipwreck.  There is obviously snorkelling etc and manta rays can be seen all year round in Ukulhas.   Teeny weeny islands, can walk around them rather than drive around them.. then Thailand onwards.  Figure I’ll be chilled out a bit before getting to Thailand which is good because I don’t want to be ‘too busy’ and even now - after Phi Phi/Maya Bay was closed (& annual closure August - Sept) - it’s still massively busy.  You can go there and check it out for an hour or so on a boat trip with hoards of other people, it’s not a ‘casual’ - get up in the morning and wander down to the beach type thing.  Bustling busy.  And that - is what puts me off.  If you want ‘busy’ - that’s what cities are for.  It’s not the *only* beach in Thailand - but - somehow most people think that it is and it suggests a stupid amount like 4,000 visitors *daily* (according to google) and the resident population is between 2,000 and 3,000 people.   Then there’s the mozzies… they love me.  The sweet taste of ‘rare’.  From Rump to Sirloin.  Swallowing a few cloves of garlic won’t work.  Mozzy Parfum wofts in the air no doubt…. Back to planning…. pack some descent head phones and fairly heavy duty portable battery charger - that would be the heaviest thing in my pack probably.   aaahhh

I have acquired a ‘wellbox S’.. for £120… like that one .. on GlamGlobal .. wow.. soooo expensive - over £3,000 - that’s more expensive than plastic surgery (including flights, accommodation and other ‘miscellaneous’ expenses).  Hand delivered as well, it only registered that it was delivered *after* I’d received it from the actual seller.  So I have it set up in my bedroom, the plug is hidden in my drawer so it’s not an ‘effort’ getting it out and plugging it in and lugging it around - which is brilliant - I have room for it.  I gave it go - and I really like it.  Don’t need any creams or gels just bish -bosh - done.  Like a tapping kind of massage with suction like on those cavitation machines but more - way more nicer and not really a hassle to use (especially if it’s out ready to be used).  Light Pink.  Not brilliant white so it goes nicely with my ‘décor’.  Another device I have acquired is: ‘Saint Miracle’.. for £60.. however you can pick this up on sale for over £980 in the UK and £700 in Japan (not including customs & shipping - probably not customs - because it’s small.. small things are okay to buy because they are not penguins).

This is what I got:  Athens - Male - Bangkok.. nip over to Vietnam.. maybe.. typhoons… unsure about Cairns.. because lotta travelling .  Unsure yet.  Couple of days in Athens (4 hrs) - onto Male (11 hours) - onto Bangkok (4 hours) - so much cheaper and faster than the ‘discounted flights’ that can last for up to and over 35 hours! Lol. (or direct)

Athens - Male - Gulhi - Male - Thulusdhoo (not Omadhoo because .. boat times etc) - Male - Ukulhas - Male - Bangkok - Koh Chang - Bangkok - Phuket - Krabi (Ko Jum) - Ko Lanta - Krabi - Phuket - Koh Samui - Koh Phangnan - Koh Samui - Phuket - Phi Phi Don - Phuket - in January 2026 J  Hostels are ridiculously cheap - and I shall be staying *on* the beach for Christmas/New Years in Koh Samui.  The ‘ai’ ‘itinerary creator’ just basically says - chill - relax - chill - relax - chill - relax… fabulous.

These ‘cheap’ flights - really *ARE* cheap.. from Phuket to Paris is £200 - just have a ‘stopover’ of 12 hours in Kuala Lumpur.  Although it’s through the night and you are probably able to leave the airport…  getting there via Athens.. cheaper to book from Athens to Maldives then on to Bangkok, fly to Phuket from Bangkok - £27.  Flights to Maldives over £1500.. a round trip to NZ with 2 kids was over £10k ... a couple of decades ago.  Long flight - break it up as much as you can.  Dates are set.  All booked up.. excellent.   On my first trip to the UK (before daughter was born) when I was working in a pub in Camden - one of the girls I worked with got the map out - Thailand *always*.. fuckit.. phooo foooo keet.. only taken about … over 30 years.  Got a bit of a mix accommodation - from backpackers to a resort to a tent.  And on the last days of my trip to Thailand I will be spending on Phi Phi Islands and then transfer directly to the airport booked on 12go.asia - makes it so easy.   Picked up from there - delivered to there - for a set price rather than haggling with taxi drivers.  Buses are cheap, transport is much cheaper - you can fly from Bangkok to Phuket for the same amount it costs to get from Watford to London on public transport.  Apps like ‘Grab’ & ‘Bolt’ for fixed price taxis.  Apps for massages & beauty treatments: ‘GoWabi’… There’s an ‘app’ for everything now.  I searched for how much botox is on ‘GoWabi’.. ‘Botox in Bangkok’.. (£175 - 283 for 50 - 100 units.. cheaper but not as cheap ‘do-it-yourself’), how much is laser resurfacing in Thailand…’CO2 laser skin resurfacing’.. 1500 baht = £35.. really.. over £1k in UK.  Pearl laser is about a week before skin starts to peel - it’s ‘new skin’ - probably the same with the CO2, still harsh.  I’m not going to get that done because there is ‘downtime’ and you need to stay out of the sun - that’s ridiculously cheap.  Massage - all from sports, oriental, facial, aroma to targeted tension relief. So I am looking through Athens excursions/tours - there’s an Athens Party Pub Crawl with 1 ‘FULL Hour’ of unlimited drinks and VIP nightclub entry and free shots - for £9.  It’s recommended by 99% of travellers and lasts for 3-4 hours, how much liquid can you down in an hour?  I have 3 days in Athens (Zeus.. everyone knows Zeus… . Poseidon.. unsure about how many movies there are about pedoes playing pedoes being pedoes when they already are.. etc..as I have not counted) and then on to Maldives… where ‘Coke Island’ is.. lol..  Majority of accommodation in Thailand - is beachfront.  Given that everyone is out during the day and the hotel/hostel is a place to crash - it is nice to get a nicer place.  So the last days on Phi Phi Islands I have 1 night at At Samui Haus - I will be not venturing very far from there as this hotel looks amazing and I’m going to make the most of it then transfer to The View Hostel (got a double with balcony.. and a view) until the early transfer to Phuket aiport.

I did that yesterday - this morning I walked around aimlessly for a few hours & I found my way back among the crammed streets without a map.  Excellent, there’s a giraffe with binoculars as a ‘point of reference’ :-)  it was a competition.. she got the ‘lucky’ olive .. he well ‘jell’.  

Zeus has scaffolding around the main part.  It was supposed to be raining today - didn’t .. hurrah.  Last full day in Athens tomorrow..  haven’t made any plans yet - and thennn .. off - to do … nothing (for a couple of weeks)

Touch down in Male, the plane was half empty so I got a row, makes all the difference.  Feet up.  Stopped off in Sajarah.. ?.. not the Sahara but very much like it.  Walked to the domestic terminal & caught a bus to villigi ferry terminal (R3) & caught ferry to villigi, total cost $13.50 mulvanian = £0.67 .. a local showed me where the shop is - bought some coffee $55.00 = £2.71 (a whole jar - the two sachets don’t go very far with me).  A taxi to the ferry terminal (if anyone is looking for the more expensive option) equates to just over £1.00 in Maldivian dollars.   If paying by American dollar airport transfers approx $75 USD.  Steep. Possible scam. (Did they all get $5k each after the ‘what have you done today’ .. ‘security services’ .. social media .. ‘pep talks’ and another $2k each as a bonus for paying more for what they buy - I’m not American (the pedoes etc ARE *fully* aware of that fact  utter utterly utter hideouser. Back in 2011 - the entire population of America wasn’t living in a place called ‘otago’ - fast forward to 2025 .. there’s 347,922,715 Americans going to get $7k each (must be that pedophiles pedo club they’re on about .. all their pedo campaigns ‘black lives matter’, ‘George Floyd’, ‘Travelisting’, ‘gold digger’ in the ‘PR’ (& pedo terrorist) etc many many more - so good they pillaged it made about themselves - made several versions of themselves being pedoes etc and .. my calculator says : $2.435459005e12 - hazard a guess - more than $39 trillion.  Because it’s got an ‘e’ in it.

It is ‘villingilli’, it’s for chill. Step outside and you’re on the beach, water is so clear, it’s a chill heat. Could sit outside til the early hours morning & listen to the waves.  

Nearly every place is on the beach, there’s tables etc like a picnic area, get up in the morning and stumble onto the beach.  Probably sit there all day because after villigi- off to ‘Coke Island’ .. lol la la la lolahh dididididoo .. for a beach that’s close to a city it’s literally empty - probably because - no alcohol (they do & there is - not in view) no weed (there is & they do- not in view) & no smoking (they do & don’t pick their butts up) & have to swim fully clothed - I have seen some not fully clothed - not forced to ‘pray’ - no one is trying to ‘convert you’ etc or assume anything else other than you’re here to visit an island in the Maldives before venturing onwards.. to bikini beach and Coke island .. did nothing today - sunrise on beach, sat on beach, paddled in the water - didn’t get any clothes wet.  The sand is not fine grain but coarse - the kind you find in exfoliation products - kind of.  That kind of sand.  

Sitting outside in my little balcony, enjoying the warmth. Air conditioning works great.  Bed is comfy - had a great nights sleep. Ordered a meal via room service and it took about 2 hours to eat, little bit at a time, couldn’t do that in the restaurant obviously, getting a meal and only being able to eat a few mouthfuls- such a waste.  With the added ‘something wrong with it’ because the plate of food is literally untouched.  The moon is out - might go take a photo of it in a bit.  Nothing poisonous here - actually there is - and they’re all in the ocean.  Bats, lizards, crabs, tropical fish, the mozzies aren’t in the millions that I thought they’d be (touch wood - only been here for one full day & my mozzy repellant is too strong for my skin as it had a reaction so the lady at reception gave me some Maldivian mozzy spray - so much better because it’s a spray rather than a roll on).  The meal took a couple of hours to eat, little bit at a time - couldn’t of eaten it all in one sitting so eating it in the room was much better.

Long day today - off to Gulhi tomorrow.  Get legs out - so white

Got up in time to get the sunrise over Male, amazing. Then crashed out for a couple of hours. Then packed caught the ferry to male, taxi to jetty 6, speedboat to Gulhi.  Swear I paid already - booking.com should have a box that says whether you’ve paid or not and I accounted for the green tax.  I got an email telling me to bring US dollars for the green tax ($98 for 5 days), so booked an excursion with spare cash.  Got the bill out of the way - back to holidays.  One day in villingili - feels like I’d been there for a week - bring clothes to swim in because it’s ‘local’ - not a resort.  One of the passengers on the speedboat turfed a can of drink into the ocean ..  local passenger - not a tourist ..  nooooo - you didn’t just do that - yeah she did.  

Hotel meet at Gulhi jetty, bags in a wheelbarrow- room is up the top and overlooking bikini beach and new islands being built.  Relaxx chill .. do a little shopping.  My bag is ‘carry on luggage’ - things like toiletries etc can be bought again.  Apparently sea shoes are about $5-10, sharp corals etc.  Not going to be using again them again after Maldives.  Not a big expense if they’re that cheap. Still adjusting to just how ridiculously inexpensive it is - for an internationally reknown expensive destination.

Had a Quick Look at bikini beach, it has little stalls with souvineers at the entrance and there are signs with a cross through bikinis anywhere else - not that strict as far as they make out, some of them are wandering around in bikinis outside of the bikini area.  I found a shop with sunblock, so bought some sunblock (spf 60, waterproof etc, 130g) Maldivian 180, and some mozzy spray & a light for £11.50 - not as extortionate as they make out.  It’s when they start asking for US dollars the price is tourist prices ie: jet ski hire 15 minutes $35 USD.  Back to chillin

First day in Gulhi- went for a swim. Nice. Bikini beach - theee most skimpiest bikinis you could imagine, I’m swimming in shorts.  Only time I’ll probably wear them.  Sitting on a sunbed & one of the beach staff tells me it’s $15 USD a day for a sunbed - that’s extortion, steep.  Obviously Gulhi is more ‘touristy’ than villinngili that is more local hence the prices.  Less people in the water & there are park benches etc - only thing is - wear a full body suit to swim.(it is fine grain sand)

I have officially tried Maldivian seafood- didn’t eat it all (I need to sleep it off), French fries saved for later - probably a good idea not to try & eat the rest (seafood) later, green lipped muscles remain supreme,  Had to try it - massively expensive, probably from now on in - small meals - & there aren’t any ‘small’ meals with seafood.  My meals will be entree’s  & snacks

Bit windy- went for a swim and ended up at the other end of ‘bikini beach’, passed a guy snorkelling , ‘baby shark’ .. he’s excited - okay .. where’s the dad or mum- scan scan scan, no fins - all good.  Segregationist’rules’ - That’s *your* side & that's the fun side.. 

A couple of days in at Gulhi - and my legs got sunburnt - so I wet a couple of towels first a cold compress, air con on - but - don’t want to stay in the room all day so I made a tent on the rooftop, duvet over the table, pillows- genius- overlooking the beach - much better
